Principles
Philoshopy... A philosophy based on the obligation of justice. A justice that fights to make real the infinite dignity of each human person.
Education... An education that makes the person to take its place as responsible of the political, economical and social issues based on a critical, creative, communitarian and ecological conscience.
Objetives
A) To establish a social orientation in matters concerning family, education, nutrition, work and health; the same as obtaining schooling and training for working in a job whether for a company or oneself; orientate under-privileged people in the following way:
1. Organizing groups of men, women, young people or children in their communities or in the facilities at RORAC using the ways and means necessary to obtain these objectives.
2. Cooperate in the formation or restructuring of methods used in the work place or by the self-employed. Promoting self-improvement of the worker or of the group, results in efficiency in production and the managing of their work.
3. Cooperate in the formation and training of groups of farm workers with education and technology.
4. Put special focus on self-improvement and social projects for women.
5. Give training and orientation concerning savings in the community groups.
6. Develop projects on environmental and agro-ecological issues.
7. Encourage reading and the use of libraries; encourage the reading of books on self-improvement and culture by promoting reading groups in the communities.
8. Use electronic media as the means of obtaining information and self-improvement.
9. Use the facilities of the foundation or establish links with institutions that have the same purpose.
B) Attention and assistance given to the underprivileged and groups affected by natural or man-made disasters should be as follows:
1. Use the facilities and personnel of the foundation for the victims or affected people of the community in need.
2. Cooperate with or assist the government institutions that are helping or rescuing people or victims affected.
3. If necessary establish a collection center and distribution point for necessary items for the people or communities affected.
C) Implement the scientific investigation of philosophical matters using mainly the philosophical works of José Porfirio Miranda. As follows:
1. Promote the scientific knowledge of José Porfirio Miranda de la Parra’s philosophy and works to both national and international students and researchers.
2. Produce philosophical knowledge as a result of scientific research along the lines of the aims of this association.
3. Promote scientific investigation on the human being, the State and a sense of history of the human race in the following ways:
a) Basing scientific knowledge on rational ethics.
b) Taking into account the truth demonstrated by the most relevant thinkers both past and present.
c) Being up to date with the most significant new discoveries and contributions in the area of both human and natural science.
d) Showing fundamental and rational alternatives to the problems confronting modern society.
4. Promote and create agreements with universities, middle or higher educational facilities, institutions both governmental and non-governmental.
5. Publish the results of research in prestigious national or international magazines.
6. Translate and broadcast the investigations in different languages, preferably English through national or international publishers who are open to this type of publication.
D) A non-profit Library for the general public with the following aims:
1. To keep, conserve and classify the José Porfirio Miranda library.
2. To enlarge the library of the author with new publications and make them available.
3. To convert the library into a place for serious reading, critical and creative thinking as well as a place for analysis and discussion.
4. To have events, workshops, seminars and any activity that helps to publish and accomplish our objectives.
5. To make available the published and unpublished José Porfirio Miranda’s works and manuscripts to both publishers and the electronic media.
6. To take care of the good use of the author’s rights belonging to this institution.
7. To translate and popularize in other languages, preferably English, the books and works of José Porfirio Miranda.
8. Promote and make agreements with other libraries, universities, centers of middle and higher education, institutions or governmental and non-governmental organizations.
9. To publish our own library’s magazine with the idea of networking with all the best magazines of today’s world.
10. To publish the author’s works in both national and international magazines.
11. To create the library’s own publishing house.
12. To use all the different medias to popularize the works and research of the author as well as philosophical exchange.
13. To use the electronic media to keep as well as popularize and investigate the contents of the library; for example CDs, library on the Internet, web site and any other way possible both nationally and internationally.
